  • Depending on your delivery, it can take up to 6 to 8 weeks for your body to truly heal. However, you can actually get pregnant sooner than you think! • Yes! Your baby's mood affects you and your mood affects your baby. When your baby cries especially when you are exhausted this can cause you to feel depressed. If this happens a lot, speak to your doctor or a special person. It's a sign of strength not weakness when you ask for help.

  • Mindfulness just means using your senses to be aware of what you're doing. You can be mindful with your baby by doing a little exercise. It’s called the 5 senses of your baby. Clear your mind and pay attention to how your baby looks. Look at the shape of their eyes, they're long eyelashes the color of their hair. Touch their skin and think about what it feels like. Listening to their voices focus on the unique sounds they can make. Smell their hair and try to find words to describe the complex but pleasant smells. Kiss your baby and think of the taste left on your lips. Now breathe. This stress exercise is a great reset and can help calm you on the most stressful days.
